Polycarbonate Store Featured Project: Outdoor Grill Cover
Problem
Kim & Dave were gearing up for a summer full of grilling and backyard hangouts, but they had one problem—they needed a better way to protect their grill and have some protection from blinding sun and the occasional downpour. They were tired of buying the standard fabric cover for the BBQ that fades and wears out quickly. They started brainstorming design ideas that would add charm to their yard and solve their problem, too.
Solution
Determined to find a better alternative, Kim & Dave decided to design and build a custom cedar shelter for their grill. They wanted something that would keep it safe from rain and direct sunlight but also added to the overall beauty of their backyard. As they looked into different materials, they discovered that polycarbonate sheeting was just the thing they needed for the roof.
